1. Introduction

These terms and conditions establish the guidelines for participating in all children's dance classes, events, holiday programmes, visiting teacher events, and other programmes offered by The Centre of Dance PTY LTD. This includes schedules, payment, and refund policies, and other relevant information.
1.2. Participation in the classes implies acceptance of these terms and any ongoing updates.
1.3. The Centre of Dance PTY LTD (ABN 51670842896) is the owner of all children's classes, programmes, and events offered both online and in-studio.
1.4. Parents/guardians must provide accurate registration information, including the child’s full name, date of birth, emergency contact details, and the parent/guardian's phone number and email address.
1.5. Age restrictions may apply, requiring a parent/guardian aged 18 or older to register, pay, and oversee participation for children.
1.6. By registering, parents/guardians agree to receive communications from The Centre of Dance PTY LTD and affiliated third-party providers.
1.7. Promotions are available for a limited time and may be changed or cancelled at any time without notice at the sole discretion of The Centre of Dance PTY LTD.

2. Class and Programme Participation

2.1. Classes and programmes operate on a first-come, first-served basis, with participation numbers regulated according to guidelines.
2.2. Uniforms are compulsory for all children’s classes. Details regarding uniform requirements will be provided upon enrolment.
2.3. Participation is voluntary and may involve strenuous physical activity. Parents/guardians must assess their child's fitness, health, and ability to participate, understanding that there is a risk of personal injury.
2.4. Children who arrive late to class may be refused entry to maintain class quality and safety.
2.5. Supplementary materials provided by The Centre of Dance are intended to support participation. Acceptance and use of these materials are at the participant’s own risk.
2.6. The Centre of Dance PTY LTD is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage to personal property. Children are responsible for their belongings.
2.7. Concert fees, competition fees, and costume hire are not covered by the term fee and will be invoiced separately.
2.8. Some events, such as the Christmas concert, may include parent and spectator fees. Information on such fees will be communicated prior to the event.
2.9. Parents/guardians must advise The Centre of Dance of any health concerns or medication needs of their child before enrolment and participation.

3. Liability and Indemnity Waiver

By purchasing and participating in any children’s classes, programmes, events, or holiday activities, you agree to the following:
3.1. Participation involves inherent physical risks. Parents/guardians confirm their child is in good health and capable of participation.
3.2. The Centre of Dance PTY LTD and its staff are released from any liability for injuries, illnesses, or medical conditions arising during participation.
3.3. Parents/guardians agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Centre of Dance PTY LTD, its owners, employees, agents, and contractors from any claims or expenses related to participation, including injuries caused to or by the child.
3.4. In the event of an emergency, parents/guardians authorise The Centre of Dance and its staff to administer first aid and/or seek medical treatment. Costs associated with emergency medical care are the responsibility of the parent/guardian.
3.5. Photographs and videos taken during classes, programmes, events, or holiday activities may be used for promotional purposes. If you do not wish for images of your child to be used, please provide written notification to The Centre of Dance.

4. Fees and Refund Policy

4.1. Fees must be paid in full before participation. All fees are final, non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-extendable unless otherwise stated.
4.2. By purchasing or signing up for a free trial, parents/guardians grant permission for their child's personal information and images to be used for marketing purposes.
4.3. The Centre of Dance PTY LTD is not liable for technical malfunctions affecting participation.

5. Termination of Enrolment
​
5.1. The Centre of Dance reserves the right to refuse entry or terminate enrolment for any reason, retaining payments made.
5.2. Reasons for termination include inappropriate behaviour, breaches of terms, non-payment, or inability to meet participation guidelines.

6. Pickup and Drop-off Policies
​
6.1. Safety is a priority; children must remain inside the facility while waiting for pickup.
6.2. Guardians may be asked to wait outside during busy times; prompt arrival and pickup are essential.
6.3. Consideration for neighbouring businesses and the community is required during drop-off and pickup.

7. Lateness Policies
​
7.1. Participants must arrive at least 10 minutes before the scheduled start time.
7.2. Lateness allowances:

8. Trial Class and Make-Up Classes
​
8.1. Trial classes are available by advance reservation.
8.2. Children's Make-Up Classes: We offer only one make-up class per term per child. The make-up class must be booked for the last weekend of the term. The Centre of Dance will notify participants of the specific dates and times.
8.3. Each child must adhere to the scheduling guidelines for the make-up class as provided by The Centre of Dance.
9. Viewing Policy

9.1. Viewing is restricted to the last week of each term unless an exception is granted by the Head Teacher.
10. Behavioural Expectations
​
10.1. Participation in classes requires respectful, courteous, and appropriate behaviour.
10.2. Inappropriate behaviour, including verbal or non-verbal intimidation, harassment, or abuse, will result in removal from the class and may lead to further restrictions on participation.
11. Privacy
​
11.1. The Centre of Dance does not sell or supply customer information without prior consent.
12. Phone and Personal Property Policy
​
12.1. Filming before class is allowed; however, phones are not permitted during class.
12.2. The Centre of Dance is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage to any personal property brought to the premises.

13. Technical Issues and Cancellation Policy
​
13.1. The Centre of Dance is not responsible for technical malfunctions affecting participation.
13.2. The full schedule of classes may be cancelled, suspended, modified, or withdrawn at any time without notice. Participants agree to indemnify The Centre of Dance against any losses or damages caused by such changes.
14. Electricity Malfunction Policy

14.1. In the event of an electricity malfunction, children will receive a make-up class on the last weekend of the term.
15. Refund Policy
​
15.1. Refunds are only available if The Centre of Dance cancels a class, event, or programme, or under exceptional circumstances with supporting documentation.
15.2. Refunds do not apply for breaches of terms or change of mind.

2. Package Details

2.1. The 2-Weeks Unlimited package allows unlimited attendance of Adult Ballet and Stretch classes over a two-week period, starting from the date of the first attended class.
2.2. Participants must register online and book each class in advance. Spaces in each class are subject to availability on a first-come, first-served basis.
2.3. The package is valid for 14 consecutive days from the first attended class and cannot be extended, paused, or transferred for any reason.

3. Class Attire and Guidelines
​
3.1. Participants must wear comfortable attire suitable for adult ballet classes, such as leggings or athletic wear. Long hair should be tied back, and socks are compulsory. Minimal accessories are recommended to allow ease of movement.
3.2. Participants must arrive at least 5 minutes prior to the scheduled class time to prepare and avoid disruptions. Latecomers may be refused entry to maintain class quality and safety.
3.3. It is mandatory for participants to bring a water bottle to stay hydrated during classes.

4. Parking and Location
​
4.1. Guest parking is not available on-site. Participants are advised to utilise off-street parking near Bulimba Park or Woolworths, both of which are within walking distance of the studio.
4.2. Classes are held at 49 Godwin St, Bulimba.
​
5. Fees and Refund Policy
​
5.1. The package fee of $49.00 must be paid in full before participation. All fees are final, non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-extendable.
5.2. This package does not include make-up classes or the rescheduling of missed classes.

6. Participation and Booking

7.3. Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Centre of Dance PTY LTD, its owners, employees, agents, and contractors from any claims related to participation.
7.4. In the event of an emergency, participants authorise The Centre of Dance and its staff to administer first aid and/or seek medical treatment. Costs associated with emergency medical care are the participant's responsibility.

8. Technical Issues and Cancellation Policy

8.1. The Centre of Dance is not responsible for technical malfunctions affecting booking or participation in classes.
8.2. If classes are cancelled or rescheduled by The Centre of Dance due to unforeseen circumstances, participants will be notified via email, phone, or social media. Alternative classes may be booked within the two-week package period, but no extensions to the package duration will be granted.

9. Electricity Malfunction Policy

9.1. In the event of an electricity malfunction affecting the class, participants will be notified via email, phone, or social media about how to schedule their missed class within the package period.

10. Photography and Media
​
10.1. The Centre of Dance may take photographs or videos during classes for promotional purposes. If participants do not wish to have their image used, they must provide written notification to The Centre of Dance.

11. Behavioural Expectations
​
11.1. Participation in classes requires respectful, courteous, and appropriate behaviour. Inappropriate behaviour, including verbal or non-verbal intimidation, harassment, or abuse, will result in removal from the class and may lead to further restrictions on participation.

12. Privacy

12.1. The Centre of Dance does not sell or supply customer information without prior consent.

The Centre of Dance – General Policy & Liability Waiver for the $39 Unlimited Weekly Package

At The Centre of Dance, we prioritise transparency and clarity in our membership policies to ensure a positive and seamless experience for all members. By purchasing our products, enrolling in our classes, or participating in the $39 unlimited weekly package, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Membership Duration
1.1. The $39 unlimited weekly package is for a fixed term of six months from the date of enrolment. After the initial six-month term, the membership automatically transitions to a month-to-month basis unless cancelled in accordance with the outlined cancellation policy.

2. Membership Cancellation
2.1. Members have the right to cancel their membership after completing the initial six-month contract term. To cancel, a paid and active 30-day notice must be submitted in writing to hello@thecentreofdance.com.au. Failure to provide written notice will result in continued monthly charges.
2.2. Members may also cancel within the initial six-month term under specific circumstances, such as adverse changes to the membership agreement, medical incapacity, or relocation beyond a 30 km radius of The Centre of Dance, with appropriate documentation.

3. Medical Reasons and Relocation
3.1. Members can cancel their membership within the initial six-month term due to medical reasons by providing a medical certificate.
3.2. Proof of relocation outside the specified 30 km radius is accepted for cancellation within the initial term.
3.3. Both scenarios are subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to one month’s membership dues and require a 30-day notice period.

4. Convenience Cancellation
4.1. If membership becomes inconvenient during the initial six-month term, members may request termination, subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to one month’s membership dues and the 30-day notice period outlined in the membership agreement.
​
5. Membership Freeze
​
5.1. Members may freeze their membership for a maximum of three months annually.
5.2. Freeze requests must be submitted in writing to hello@thecentreofdance.com.au, indicating the start and end dates of the freeze period.
5.3. Administrative fees may apply for the freeze.

6. Membership Fees and Increases
6.1. Membership fees are debited weekly, and failure to pay may result in revoked access to classes.
6.2. Fees may increase after the initial six-month term, with prior notice provided to members.

7. Participant Responsibility

7.1. Participants are responsible for disclosing any relevant health conditions and seeking medical advice before participating in classes.
7.2. By enrolling, participants acknowledge that they assume all risks of injury and waive claims against The Centre of Dance for any injury or health-related issues arising from participation.

1.2. After the initial six-month term, memberships automatically transition to a month-to-month basis unless cancelled in accordance with the outlined cancellation policy.

2.2. To cancel, a paid and active 30-day notice must be submitted in writing to hello@thecentreofdance.com.au.

2.4. Members may also cancel under specific circumstances, such as adverse changes to the agreement, medical incapacity, or relocation beyond a 30 km radius of The Centre of Dance, with appropriate documentation.

3. Medical Reasons and Relocation

3.1. Members can cancel their membership within the initial six-month term due to medical reasons by providing a medical certificate.
3.2. Similarly, proof of relocation outside the specified radius is accepted for cancellation.
3.3. Both scenarios are subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to one week's membership dues and the required 30-day notice period.

4. Convenience Cancellation

4.1. If the membership is no longer convenient during the initial six-month term, members may request termination.
4.2. This is subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to one week's membership dues and the required 30-day notice period outlined in the membership agreement.

5. Membership Freeze

5.1. Members have the option to freeze their membership for a maximum period of three months annually.

3.2. Participants must arrive at least 5 minutes prior to the scheduled class time to prepare and avoid disruptions. Latecomers may be refused entry to maintain class quality and safety.
3.3. It is mandatory for participants to bring a water bottle to stay hydrated during classes.
