Studio Hire T&C

Terms and Conditions for Studio Hire
 


1. Payment and Booking:

Casual hirers must pay the studio hire fee in full at the time of booking.
All bookings are subject to availability and will be confirmed upon receipt of payment.


2. Key Access and Security:

A lockbox code will be provided to access the studio key upon full payment.
Keys are not transferable and must be returned at the completion of the hire agreement.
Lost or unreturned keys will necessitate the replacement of the studio lock system, with costs incurred by locksmiths to be the hirer's responsibility.
Always return keys to the lockbox and do not change the code.


3. Usage Guidelines:

Ensure that all usage adheres to the agreed schedule.
Any changes or cancellations must be communicated in advance. Refer to the cancellation policy.
The studio must be left in the same condition as it was found.
No food and drink are allowed in the studios.
No smoking.
No outdoor shoes in the studios. Please ensure your shoes are clean. Shoes are permitted in the lobby and toilets.
Alcohol and smoking are not permitted in the venue. Any other drink spills must be cleaned up immediately.
The venue must be left in the state in which it was entered. Hirers will be charged for cleaning costs if necessary.
Extra time in the studio must be communicated and paid for.


4. Facilities and Equipment:

The hirer has access to the following:
Air conditioners must be switched off completely at the end of the hire period. Additional charges will apply if they are left running or damaged.
Speaker system, which must be switched off after use.
Bathroom facilities.
Reception area – you are welcome to use the desk for registering customers, etc. Please advise before hiring if this is needed. Please do not disturb stationery, signs, or noticeboards.
Damages to any equipment in the studio during the hire period must be paid for by the hirer and will be invoiced and direct debited via your account.
Any missing candy bar or drink items shall be paid by the hirer. You are responsible for your patrons' actions.

 

5. Liability and Indemnity:

Use of our studio and our equipment is at the hirer's risk. The hirer hereby waives rights to seek legal redress for mishaps, accidents, and/or loss while on our premises.
Hirers are solely responsible for any legal infractions they or members of their party make during the hired time.
The Centre of Dance, its owners, agents, and representatives are not responsible for any loss, accident, or injury to the hirer or anyone who accompanies the hirer while on our premises.


6. Communication and Enforcement:

The hirer agrees to communicate and enforce these terms and conditions with patrons.


7. Public Advertisement:

Public advertisement of any classes must be approved by The Centre of Dance.


8. Cancellation Policy:


Cancellation submitted up to 30 calendar days prior to the booking start time: 100% refund.
Cancellation submitted 7 calendar days prior to the booking start time: 50% refund.
Cancellation submitted less than 7 calendar days prior to the booking start time: Non-refundable, plus fees incurred for transaction processing via Stripe.


9. Changes and Cancellations:

The Centre of Dance has the right to change or cancel this agreement at any stage without prior notice.


10. CCTV:

Please note that CCTV is installed in the studios.

11. Equipment Usage:

Equipment such as yoga mats, dance equipment, and any other items are not part of the booking. Should you wish to use any of our equipment, it requires a separate hire agreement. Please get in touch to arrange this. Any equipment should be left untouched unless an agreement is in place.
